Friday 7th June saw "a bit of a do" at the Glenelg slipway in celebration of the Glenachulish's 45th year. The birthday bash was lifted to another level by the company of the Budapest Cafe Orchestra who played for assembled locals, tourists, ferry enthusiasts and local primary school pupils. BBC Alba covered the unique event for An La and the Free Press took some cracking pictures on a gloriously sunny day. Folks enjoyed the barbeque and salads provided and even witnessed a ceremonial flypast from Victor our resident sea eagle at 2pm. We couldn't have asked for more.
